Anybody who’s anybody seems to be getting photo sessions done for their newborn babies these days. Business is booming for photographers, and friends and family marvel at how their otherwise temperamental offspring are able to be captured in angelic poses — smiling, eyes beaming, calm and wise and perfect.

Well, it’s a lot harder than it looks! That’s the message that photographer Ana Brandt is showcasing in her latest series of behind-the-scenes videos, including this one uploaded to YouTube to reveal what goes on behind the lens while filming twin newborns.

Posing the bundles of joy with various family members, outfits, and surfaces proves to be a chore, but not one that anyone would mind doing based on the more than 1 million hits the video has received in 17 months online.

Brandt, who holds court in Tustin, Calif., has been named one of the 50 best family photographers in the United States and one of the 10 best photographers in the state of California, according to her own website.

According to her biography, a big part of Brandt’s success is the time she invests in the babies and the parents, often spending two hours getting to know everyone involved, and dispensing advice as the mother of three children herself.
