If Her Husband Listened To THIS, He’d Still Be Alive. Don’t Let This Happen To YOU…

Wouldn’t it be nice if we could go back in time and give our teenage selves a piece of advice for the future?

I could probably go on forever with the warnings, but would my teenage self listen? I highly doubt it. As you can see in this video, there’s so much you can say to younger people, but there are really only a few things that matter.

When I was younger, one of the biggest songs that shuffled us into the new millennium was Baz Luhrmann’s “Everybody’s Free,” aka “The Sunscreen Song.” Besides giving a laundry list of advice for young people, the line “If I could offer you only one tip for the future, sunscreen would be it” stood out to everyone, especially me.

I grew up in a beach town and envied friends who had that nice, bronze glow that my freckled skin could never achieve. I tried my best, but didn’t listen to the sunscreen advice like I should have. As an adult, I’m finally realizing how important it was.

In the following video, we learn what one group of people would go back and tell their 16-year-old selves. Like myself and so many people I know, they are dealing with the effects of sun damage. No one is safe from the sun. These people are lucky to be alive, and so is this man whose dog made the shocking discovery.

Maybe you listened and wore your sunscreen, or maybe you’re thinking this advice doesn’t apply to you. Chances are you can help someone else who is completely in the dark like my teenage self and the skin cancer survivors in this video.

Please SHARE this important message on Facebook. You never know — you could end up saving someone’s life.
