Four month old moon bear cub Smudge was rescued from horrible conditions, and is being raised by Animals Asia, a rescue facility that recently began a program to save baby bears from Asian Bear Farms. Even though he’s still very young, it’s obvious that Smudge is happy to be in a safe place, and the way he plays looks like any other baby playing! I’m always so grateful that there are centers out there devoted to saving animals who have been trapped in horrible conditions – every animal deserves the right to a full life!
