Sam Smith’s hit single, “Stay With Me” has been performed by countless other artists over the last year. However, we’ve never heard a more gripping cover than this one. Watch as singer Rozzi Crane and Mitch Grassi and Scott Hoying from the a cappella group Pentatonix tackle this beautiful song and prepare to get goosebumps. Their emotion is palpable, making for a truly powerful musical moment.
Rozzi Crane hails from San Francisco and studied at USC’s Thornton School of Music. Eventually signed to Adam Levine’s label, 222 Records, she was featured on Maroon 5’s contribution to The Hunger Games’ soundtrack and is currently opening for the band on tour. Mitch Grassi and Scott Hoying are members of Pentatonix, a five-member a cappella group that first gained stardom after winning the third season of The Sing-Off. The group has since catapulted to international fame through their Youtube channel full of viral music videos and live performances.
All three singers are supremely talented and their flawless vocals in this performance gave us chills. What did you think of their cover? Tell us in the comments below and make sure to share if you found this as gorgeous as we did.
