I wasn’t sure what to think when I first saw these high school students don dark robes and stand somberly onstage. However, as soon as the music started, I was laughing out loud. Watch as these kids perform Handel’s iconic “Messiah” like monks, remaining silently stoic while holding up signs to the song’s lyrics. The outcome leaves the audience in stitches.
According to Huffington Post Religion, this video is actually from 2008, performed by the high school students of South Kitsap High School in Port Orchard, WA. We love their creative spin on the Christmas concert and were laughing right along with the audience members!
