We here at Viral tales using natural items to replace store-bought goods that may be filled with harmful chemicals. In the video below, we demonstrate how to make homemade mouthwash by adding cinnamon to some fresh squeezed lemon water. Lemon is often thought of as harsh and acidic, and outside of the body this may be true, but inside the body it’s a different story according to Dr. Mee Lain Ling.
If “a person sucks on fresh lemons or limes all the time…doing so will damage the teeth’s enamel,” says Ling. However, using lemon water and cinnamon as a mouthwash doesn’t expose the teeth to cause any hard to the enamel. “In fact, it improves plaque-stained teeth and bad breath,” she claims.
Making this cinnamon and lemon water mouthwash is a fresh and easy way to replace the plastic bottles of mouthwash that may contain unnatural ingredients, such as Sorbitol, Aroma, Poloxamer 407, Benzoic acid, Sodium Benzoate, and Sodium saccharin to name a few. Bottoms up to healthy fresh breath!
