It’s no surprise that dogs become mothers to other cats or dog babies, but sweet dog Zip is caring for nine-day-old foal Ty after her mother Sandy passed away due to health problems. when she was 22 years old in S & K Quarter Horses in Fayette, Alabama.

Owner Carla Swindle says Zip’s existence has been a huge benefit as she looks after Ty like a mother!

Zip just cuddles with Ty and puts his paws on the foal’s neck to comfort him while he sleeps! He also doesn’t leave the foal’s side all night! How wonderful! Watch the video below.
