Riverdance, the worldly famous show is known for its traditional Irish music and dance, along with its originating star, Michael Flatley. In 1994,

Riverdance debuted as a live stage show in Dublin, Ireland. Since then, it has visited over 450 venues worldwide, and has been seen by over 25 million people. It’s one of the most revered dance productions in the world, due in part to Michael Flatley’s choreography and state presence. I still recall myself watching the show in my living room and standing in attempt to imitate the impossible dance moves.

Even today, when I hear the music something stirs in my heart, and I am pretty sure I’m not the only one who feels this way.

U.S national champion figure skater Jason Brown and his coach were working on coming up with a new routine, Jason couldn’t believe it when his team asked him to skate to “Reel Around The Sun” from the Riverdance show. But the decision would soon give an outstanding result.

The moment music began, everyone was fascinated, Jason’s stunning skating skills and his perfect synchronization to the song played kept drawing the audience in.

Jason performed on the ice rink which is completely different than the one on which the original Reiverdancers performed on, but he was still able to give his own version of the irish dance, and it’s stunning to watch.

The announcers can be heard praising the flawlessness of Jason while he’s skating on the ice. When Jason finished his performance, the entire stadium was on their feet.

Twenty million people have already fallen in love with this incredible performance. Once you see it, you’ll understand exactly why!
