The folks at WestJet Airlines are known for their annual Christmas videos that serve up surprise trips and heartwarming acts of kindness — and this year’s video just may top them all. That’s because this time around, the company pledged to perform 12,000 “mini miracles.” That’s right… over the course of 24 hours, across 10 time zones, in over 90 destinations, they performed one act of kindness per every kindhearted helper.

From London to New York, the video follows WestJet employees and volunteers on their incredible journey, set to the “Carol of the Blue Hats” performed by the Toronto Choral Society. They handed out warm blankets to homeless people, plane tickets to deserving families, and even gave a newborn baby her very first plane ticket.

Perhaps the most touching moment comes when a blue Santa Claus visits a woman who lost her husband and the father of her children after he was diagnosed with cancer in 2014. There are so many smiles in this video, it’s hard to keep up — and what a wonderful thing that is! I hope WestJet continues to keep the holiday spirit alive.
