Alan Bates, a 47-year-old police officer from Plymouth, South West England, returned from work several years ago with serious problems.

Because of the ice, he could not even get to the front door, and his funny actions were left on surveillance cameras.

A few months ago, cute scenes were filmed in front of the police station, and many onlookers laughed at the hapless police officer.

He returned home in the morning after finishing his 12-hour night shift. He was impatient to fall asleep, but the black ice in front of his house had a different plan.

“It took me longer to get home because of the transition by car than to work,” Alan, a police officer, told reporters. When he returned home in the morning, look at the scene he witnessed.
