Daniel Evans blew the judges away during his audition on “The X Factor,” even bringing the harshest judges to tears. The 38-year-old pool cleaner first revealed that he decided to come on the show because his wife, who tragically died after giving birth to their daughter, always told him he should audition. Realizing that life is too short, he decided to fulfill her dying wish and appear on the reality TV show.

His touching story was enough to bring tears to everyone’s eyes, so when he started singing, judge Cheryl Cole couldn’t hold back her emotions. Her eyes welled up with tears. Without question, Evans’ audition was unforgettable, and all the judges agreed.
